Fox Vs. Cablevision

I am sure by now that almost everyone is aware of the Cablevision and Fox dispute. For those who are unaware here are the basics: It was time for the television companies to renew contracts with the television networks, and according to Cablevison,Fox network is asking for over 150 million dollars in fees, also according to Cablevision, the original fee was around 75 million dollars. Fox news has commented that they have tried to reach out to Cablevision to solve this matter immediately, but Cablevision will not cooperate. Currently 3 million viewers are unable to watch programs such as House,Glee, NFL games, and what most are worried about, the World Series games.

Cablevision has stated that Fox is attempting to charge more than what NBC,CBS,and ABC charge combined.

It has been reported that Fox and Cablevision are meeting again on Sunday and are resorting to binding arbitration.

In my opinion, it is hard to say who is right and who is wrong in this situation. Any type of media is extremely misleading and can take advantage of and maniupulate people.Cablevision may be reporting fake numbers, or Fox actually may be asking for a ridiculous amount of money. But as of right now I am one of millions of extremely dissapointed viewers that is missing out on Glee, House, and possibly the world series.
